S P A C E
S P A C E is a collection of woodcut prints using the essence of print: The Matrix, The Transfer, The Support. I express identity and the act of gathering and taking space in the context of blackness through woodcuts. “Mass” and “Release” explore the realities of looking in on personal moments with sisters and brothers. The strength of these groups is magnified in their composition amongst space. The closer you get to the imagery, the more you invade their space.
